Signs it's time
Squealing usually means the pads are getting low. Grinding often means they're gone and metal is hitting the rotor, which gets more expensive the longer it goes. A pulsing pedal or a shake when you stop usually points to the rotors. A soft or sinking pedal needs attention right away.
We inspect the whole system and tell you what actually needs doing. If your rotors are fine, we'll say so.

Can brakes really be done in my driveway?
Yes. Pads, rotors, calipers, hoses and fluid are all done on site. We just need a reasonably flat spot where it's safe to work.
Do I need new rotors every time I get pads?
No. We measure and inspect them. If they're in good shape, we'll tell you and you won't pay for rotors you don't need.
My brakes are grinding. Is it safe to drive?
Grinding usually means the pads are worn through. It's best not to drive it more than you have to. Since we come to you, you don't have to.
What warranty do you give on brakes?
12 months or 12,000 miles on parts and labor.
